There’s something magical about the run-up to Christmas. Gardens get quieter, days get shorter, and suddenly the world feels like it’s wrapped in that soft winter hush — the kind that invites you to pause for a moment, breathe, and take it all in.

For us at Plan B Garden Design, this season is a chance to reflect on the year we’ve had and the wonderful people who have trusted us to help transform their outdoor spaces. Whether we’ve designed a complete garden makeover, helped you make sense of tricky levels, or simply advised you on how to make the most of what you’ve got — every project has meant something to us.

✨ Looking Back on 2025

This year has been full of:

  • Stunning builds that pushed creative boundaries

  • Dreamy planting schemes that will burst into life come spring

  • Collaborations with brilliant local contractors we’re proud to recommend

  • Meeting new clients (and often their pets — the real project managers)

  • Seeing completed gardens enjoyed by families, friends, and welcomed wildlife

No two gardens are ever the same — and that’s what keeps us inspired.

🌿 Winter: Nature’s Reset Button

While winter may feel like “nothing is happening,” underneath the surface everything is quietly preparing for next year. And honestly… we relate.

Winter gives us a chance to:

  • Review designs and refine our creative process

  • Plan new projects for 2026

  • Look ahead to spring builds

  • Gather fresh inspiration (with a festive hot chocolate in hand)

It’s also the perfect time for homeowners to start planning a garden redesign. Come spring, build schedules get busy — so if a transformation is on your wishlist, winter is when the magic starts behind the scenes.

🎁 The Best Gifts Aren’t Always Found Under the Tree

Sometimes the best gift is time spent with people we care about. Sometimes it’s the promise of a fresh start. And sometimes… it’s investing in a space that will bring joy for years to come.

A garden can be:

  • A sanctuary

  • A social hub

  • A play space

  • A wildlife retreat

  • A place to breathe

Creating that space is more than a project — it’s a privilege.

🎅 A Thank You From Us

To everyone who has been part of our journey this year — clients, contractors, friends, and supporters — thank you. Your trust genuinely means the world to us.

We wish you a Christmas filled with warmth, rest, and those little moments that make life special. And if you’re dreaming up a garden project for 2026… we’d love to help bring it to life.

Merry Christmas from Boyd and Suzie.
