Japanese Garden

A Japanese garden is a tranquil, carefully designed space that reflects the natural beauty and harmony of the world. Characterized by elements such as flowing water, stone pathways, delicate plants, and thoughtfully placed lanterns or bridges, these gardens create a sense of peace and contemplation. Japanese gardens emphasize simplicity, balance, and the natural flow of the landscape. Each element is chosen and arranged with intention, encouraging quiet reflection and a deeper connection to nature. This is a beautiful Plan B designed garden in Essex.

An Office In Essex

Our clients in Earls Colne wanted to create a drinks reception area to link to their existing patio. A once underused space has now been transformed, with the rill and subtle fountain taking centre stage. The addition of the Gin Bar and seating, ensured that this design met the brief. Planting helps to soften the area, as well as providing splashes of colour.

Country Meadow

This sizeable plot in the lovely Essex village of Tillingham is currently being transformed into a Country Meadow Garden. A meadow is not created overnight, so this project will see Plan B adding to and adapting the design, year after year.

This modern garden design features a sleek boardwalk that guides you through the space, adding structure and a sense of movement. Along one side, a slatted fence supports a lush living wall, blending architecture with greenery for a striking visual contrast. The vertical planting softens the lines of the wood while maximizing space, perfect for smaller gardens. Granite balls further add to the dynamic nature of the garden. The combination of natural textures and clean design creates a contemporary, calming outdoor Suffolk retreat.

Little Italy

An Italian garden design emphasizes symmetry, order, and classical elegance. Typically featuring manicured hedges, geometric flower beds, and gravel pathways, it often includes focal points like fountains, statues, or reflecting pools that echo Renaissance aesthetics. This style blends architecture and nature, creating a refined, harmonious outdoor space. This Plan B designed garden in Suffolk was inspired by the client’s trips to Italy.
